i've had a d link 514 router for a year now. this router has been good to me and have never given me any problems. well, now i got a list of compatible router for the DS wifi and it says that my dlink 514 is not compatible. any recommendations on what router i should get to replace it? hopefully something not too expensive.

Lots of those routers are pretty affordable. I just got the D-Link 524, which is compatible, and runs between 20 and 30 after rebate (regularly 59.99, but who buys routers without rebates?)
Not sure about any others specifically. I would actually consider waiting until you could actually use the Wi-Fi to make sure it doesn't work before buying (or at least before opening) a new router.
