I hate that about Nintendo: 2 years old and it only drops to $30.

Why drop the price if the title was selling good at $50? Also, Nintendo isn't the only company to do such a thing. Halo did the same thing.

Yeah, but Halo's the one exception for Microsoft. This is standard procedure for Nintendo 1st-party games.

Right now, Nintendo has the kickass Mario Party 7 bundle right now. I'm sure they're trying to entice people who buy that to also pick up some popular titles to go with it. Think of it, you can get the Mario Party GameCube bundle with the extra controller, Metroid Prime Echoes, and Mario Kart DD for $150 total. That's pretty killer!

Nintendo should also universally lower Smash Brothers Melee to $20, and while they're at it, instruct TRU to make their Smash Brothers GameCube bundles part of the green tag sale. ;)

Well if there were a lot more first party Xbox games that sold as well as first party nintendo games, I'm sure Microsoft would do the same

Anyways, thanks for the deal OP.

I will say it again, hell seems to have frozen over.... but I'm getting the DS version tomorrow, so I don't care about Double Dash for the moment. The only really fun part of the game was the coop mode anyways.

There are only 2 current gen games I bought on release day, and Mario Kart DD is one of them.

Hot Damn! It's finally time for me to get around buying this. Now that it's cheaper I might just add it to the Christmas list. >_>

I rented it and played the hell out of it cause I couldn't stand the wait for it to drop. Beat all of it and unlocked everything except for this one thing I don't even remember now. I've waited this long, so I can wait until it drops to $19.99 finally if that day ever does come.

It will in another 3-6 months.

Nah, unless the Revolution affects it any, it will probably maintain SSBM status of "Best Seller" as opposed to Player's Choice, and stick to 29.99 for a while. (SSBM was released two years before MK:DD and just recently is available for 19.99 occasionally)

My SSBM is Player's Choice and I got it quite a long time ago.

Well, yes, but that was a temporary goof on Nintendo's part before they realized they could make millions more on it (or was it even selling at 29.99 then?). Technically it's Player's Choice, but they don't market it as such because of the confusion with the "All Player's Choice games are $19.99" conception.

Now if only I could get someone to sell me their copy of MKDD with the bonus disc for cheap.
