Like you I had a real WTF moment when I saw that Ghost Recon case.
Oh, also notice the price on Ridge Racer 6 and Ghost Recon! Could Wal Mart really be $10 cheaper on 3rd party software or is it universal?

Damn, I just came from Walmart in Oxnard, CA, and there's wasn't a damn Xbox 360 related thign besides the kiosk that I saw. Good thing too, I would have broken the glass and ran like a mofo with all that temptation in front of me!

It was taken from a gamespot thread, the OP was from New Jersey. I don't think anyone with a camera phone would feel like a dork.

NO,but the collectors editions that run $10 more than the regular ones are priced $59.82.Same price as the regular editions.
I checked the Q4,PD0 and CoD 2 and the special editions are all the same price as the regular ones.

The PD:Z is darker than normal, Ridge Racer isn't $49.99, Why would XMen Legends 2 and Fantastic Four be in the middle of the 360 section?
And the words above the price on Perfect Dark are unreadable, but it has two words. Perfect Dark Zero has three words.

I want to believe it so much.... but NCAA for XBOX in the middle of all those 360 games....no LIVE logo on PD0 or PGR3... I feel we've been duped. :(

Those are just empty display cases for the games, they do the same thing at EB and GS...
These could be empty box "place holders" like TRU uses (at least mine anyway). They may have gotten them in prior to GR being delayed.

I think the top pic with all the 360's, the shelving looks like it's from target, right? They just redid it a little while ago, does anyone else think that?

I'm leaning to the empty display box thing too. There's no way in hell GR:AW is going to be out Tuesday.
I'm also thinking the prices under those boxes are from other games and they just put the 360 games there and don't have tags for them yet.
The consoles may very well be empty too, who knows. Who can tell from a box. I feel like Brad Pitt on SE7EN...... "WHAT'S IN THE BOX! NOOOOOOOO! WHAT'S IN THE BOX!"

It's fake. Look to the bottom left of Ridge Racer 6. What game do you see? That's right, Ridge Racer 6, again. Why would they put the same game in two different spots. Even if they did, they would be right next to each other, not in another column. It's diagonal to it. Look to the bottom right of Kameo. It's the same thing.

I forgot to mention that Project Gotham Racing 3 is in three completely different spots. Plus, as other people have said, Ghost Recon isn't even a launch title.

I'm not so sure as you that it is photoshop, follow some of the details in the picture, like the lights from above, think he could'a shopped behind those that good, and the boxes behind the glass aren't in perfect order.

Can any of you even read the text above the prices?
These photos are probably real, and those cheaper prices are probably as a result of just placing those games in a slot reserved for something else...
For example, how many times have you glanced at a brand-new game and then saw the price tag below read something really cheap, and then it turns out that the new game is in an old title's spot?
For example, seeing Halo 2 on release date for $19.99, but then the price tag in that slot reads "19.99... Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3"?
Happens a lot when I go to the store. Also, I've seen new games put out early and don't have tags for that slot. I would think 1 or 2 days before launch they would start tagging all the 360 items and giving them proper spots.

Those half-circles in the upper right corner of the system boxes read "For Display Only".

I tried blowing up the tags underneath the games. While I can't tell what the game is on them (Picture resolution is too low.) the one underneath Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter is definitely not just "Ghost Recon" or "GR: AW" or any other abbreviation. It looks like the second word on the tag just has 2-3 letters.

Hmm... now I don't seem to see any signs of shrinkwrapping on those games, so they probably are display boxes.

PDZ is the only thing that looks suspicious particularly in the top left corner. It looks like a photo has been overlayed on top of another 360 title and like others have pointed out there is no "LIVE" label in the top right. Also where is Saint' Row in the photo?
I thought 360 game cases were going to be silver / white. And, yeah; as mentioned, those are placeholders more than likely, hence why they're all "one deep".

If you look at the size of the box vs. the size of the lock, the 360 boxes are just way too small. The core boxes on the right side were done pretty well but if you look at the premium boxes on the left side, each row looks exactly alike.

Absolutely not, that's what I mentioned earlier, I've never seen display cases for games at Wal-Mart, much less systems.

I see it on the bottom-middle. just the tip top of the title but thats it, fake too no doubt, only game that looks real is kameo as far as i can see. The way Perfect Dark Zero is printed on the box is all wrng, no xboxlive symbol, and it looks way darker than it should.

The top picture is target... and the Wal-mart picture is BS...It's been photo shopped because there are no games behind the front fake.
