I know its a weird request, but i'm self employed and therefore have zero benefits. I have a couple cavities and need them taken care of. I really don't feel like paying "self-pay" and having to pay 10 times more than what I would if I had a good plan. Also, does anyone know of good plans that cover cosmetic work on teeth? Not many plans cover that, but some do. Thanks.

You can get some discoutn plans that run around 100bucks a year and you get 30-60% off the regular price that you would be paying if u had no plan at all.

I've actually heard that some dentists will Haggel with you over price. If you don't have insurance then tell them how much you can swing and they might do the work. I think it's worth a shot, considering how many Dentists are in the phone book there has to be one willing to give you a deal.

Or if you like you can check with a local credit union and see if they have any plans of benefits for acct holders. I opened an acct for myself so i could get a good rate for the dentist. Anyways I hope this helps.

Do you really want to pull a knife on the person who'll be sodomizing you when they put you under with gas?

i think he was pulling the knife on the dentist in the first place so the dentist would sodomize him....but now that he knows he was already gonna get sodomoized, he doesn't have to pull the knife out

After spending $600 for a checkup, cleaning, and consultation, I decided I needed a dental plan. I joined this one: http://www.ge-wellness-plan.com/. This plan also gets you discounts on eyeglasses, medicine, and some other stuff. If I remember correctly, you can get some cosmetic dentistry work for something like 20% off.

you can get that ge wellness plan through dental plans...and if you get it through there...you can use the 20% off code...its probably around $100 before the code for 15 months of the plan

Am I the only one who thinks that CAG should expand? First cheap suits, now cheap dental plans. CheapyD should make a new site, cheapasspeople.com.
