It's the Florence KY store if anyone else is close and a Bengals fan. I think i'm gonna go buy Madden so I can get in the autograph line and have a jersey with me for him to sign and then just when I get up to the table whip it out and ask him to sign that instead. Why do I want Chad to sign a game that has Donovan McNabb on the cover?? That's stupid I'll just return the game to Walmart afterwards. Either that or I'll just hang outside and get him to sign on the way in or out. I entered the raffle as well it's for a good cause, $15 donation to the Marvin Lewis Community Fund.

EDIT:

Chad is signing between 9-10am and will play the raffle winners starting at 10am.

Raffle tickets are on sale now through sunday only.

no, they got the console. if you look at the top of paris's bag, its got a white corner sticking out. looks like a premium box, not a metal case. and it looks like super hottie got both....

A celebrity gets it because they are famous. That puts them into a small group of people that the general public obviously doesn't fit into. Hence the pool of celebrities completely excises, for the most part, the gaming population. At least for a contest, it's essentially everyone's game on a somewhat equal level (barring people who had 2000+ codes versus those with 2 codes, obviously that can't be argued). Paris Hilton has a code and I have code, we're still equal. BUt she f*cks some guys in a hot tub with a donkey watching and she instantly gets a 360, a number she probably can't even count to.

I do see your point about publicity. I wasn't considering that.

Well, about the celebrities, I think I was more pissed about the boneheads from Incubus getting those Halo 2 kits in those metal cases last year.

I've worked in advertising, and I've seen much more expensive things than a $400 system given away as a party gift. Believe me, seeing the value of the gift bag they give you at the Oscars will make you cry.

Still, I find it hard to belive that taking a picture with Paris Hilton holding one is going to make any gamer go out and buy one. And isn't it only the hardcore that will be getting them at launch anyway?
