Any people around Boston pick up a 360 [Mobile/Archive]

Just wondering if anyone around the boston, peabody, and danvers area picked up an xbox360.

Not yet, I'm holding out until December. I was thinking about camping out at the Watertown Bestbuy, but my bank cancelled my credit card and hasn't mailed out a new one yet. I guess it was one of a bunch of numbers that were stolen from a merchant, just in time to lock me out of my cash for when 360 comes out.

Now that just sucks. Had my credit card stolen last month and it took the company about a month to send out my new one.

For those interested, a poster spoke of a mall in MA that had the 360 in stock. A BB, I believe. Check out the main forum in the pre-order thread. He wrote this as of this morning, after the rush.

Targets and Wal-Marts are pretty much sold out in Woburn and Saugus. I'm really not to interested in the 360, its such a hastle to go out and get one when its truly not a "next gen," machine like the Revolution or the PS3. Of course I'll probably give in and pick one up eventually.

I tried 95, woburn, burlington, danvers and peabody and got nothing. I eventually stumbled into nashua, but I was looking for other stuff by then.

I talked to a friend who works at the best buy at the liberty tree mall and he said they might get another shipment in around december 8-10 but he's not sure. I know this isn't great news but hey at least its kind of a heads up I guess

Guys lets keep each other informed. I cannot believe the hype that went into this launch. I hope we see some soon! Anyone gonna pay for a core and buy the addons if they see one?
