By now you've heard about the critically acclaimed (http://www.gamerankings.com/htmlpages2/928520.asp) music game for the PS2, Guitar Hero (http://www.guitarherogame.com/). Because the game comes with a rad guitar controller (http://www.guitarherogame.com/controller.asp), it may be considered a bit pricey for some CAGs, but RedOctane and Cheap Ass Gamer are giving the CAG community a chance to score one for free!

To enter, post in this thread, either a picture or video of yourself showing us your best Guitar Hero/rockstar impression. I will choose 5 or so finalists and the winner will be voted on by the CAG community. Only entries with a picture or video will be eligible. You may post a drawing (of your own creation) instead of a photograph or video. Feel free to post now and edit your post later to link to your picture/video.

I could never understand why people who have a game already (so it appears since you and your friend are using the gibson controllers from the game) would enter a contest unless you wanted a second copy to ebay? :-k Eh well, will try to post pic later.

Hey Cheapy, any chance you can convince the good folk at Red Octane throw in an extra guitar controller to give away? That way those of us who already have the game can enter for another controller instead of entering for a whole bundle. Just a little tip, guys, if you take a picture of you actually playing a Guitar Hero controller, for a contest that's essentially for people begging to get their hands on one, you're probably NOT going to win.

Why? Their pictures are the best I have seen so far. Maybe they need a backup controller since they play the game non-stop?

Thanks about the shirt, that one got all worn out so i made another one, if you cant tell its home-made it is. The newer version of the R-360 shirt looks much nicer than that one though.

I suppose i should apologize for defacing my picture of me with the afterburner cockpit, its one of my favorite arcade games ever, along with the r-360 which i think is the coolest arcade game ever made.

You mention the r-360 shirt, do you know what an r-360 is, it would be interesting if someone here actually knew what it was, since most people dont seem to know.

That machine is located in the skylon tower(niagara falls ontario canada) but since it was made in 1987 it breaks down frequently, its very old and since its a motion based simulator the motion parts tend to break down frequently cause of age. There arent too many arcades now days that will actually operate an afterburner cockpit cause of this and finding one in the wild is a true rarity (especially if its fully working)!

That was me. But in Peanut's picture, at least he actually took pictures of himself, with actual props, instead of pasting a random headshot onto a random Google'd picture. The Photoshop was used well as a tool to simply create multiple versions of himself into one picture.
