Help with paypal

I just sold my entire diablo 2 account on ebay for 90$... the person has paid and the money is in my paypal, but I've gotten no confirmation email from paypal, and when I log in to paypal it shows no record of the transaction, just that I have 86$... Is this normal?

I've never ever had this happen before. Should I spend the money before he can do a chargeback?

Would I go to a negative in paypal if he tried to scam me?

If you accept credit card payments thru pay pal they charge you to use that service. So that is probably right. That is why you see a lot of sellers charging a small fee when people use pay pal.

It's weird that there's no record of the transaction, Did you click the button which says "Show account history"?

Did you have $0.00 in your account prior to this sale?

If the guy charges back, and your account goes Negative $86, there's nothing paypal can do.

I ordered a couple games on amazon, total came out to a penny less than what I had in paypal... now I'll just wait until the money is taken out of paypal.
