Sunnuvabitch, I put Animal Crossing and Harvest Moon in my cart, entered the coupon successfully, typed in my billing address and so on, and by the time I get to choose my shipping, the coupon's thrown out and my order comes to about $45. What gives? Is this 7-12 on the west coast or somethin'? (Since that would make it 5:30 there...)

whoa ... easy there ... I didnt even bother going out this morning. My GF is shopping away though..
I snagged Tony Hawk American Wasteland (XBOX) for $29. Looked like a good solid deal.
Also I went into Best Buy where the line was long but moved very quickly. Just snagged a CD there though.

I went with the Buy2Get1 free deal instead of fighting to get 2 greatest hit games for $30. This way I was able to get three $20 games for $30, and I don't mind buying used since I get games to play them, not to have them sit on my shelf and look pretty.

I ordered an hour before your post was made from ebgames.com so they were definitely not updating since they already had earlier for all their games on sales except Doom 3 which I never saw updated.

I got Fable LC and Star Wars BAttlefront on the 2 for 30 thing, and Doom CE for $12 (20 - $8 credit I got for trading in my regular Doom 3 on XBox) So for the 12 bucks I got a shiny Metal Box and playable versions of Doom and Doom 2 (which are superior to Doom 3 anyway IMO)

I am afraid of buying used games online because of the condition I might get them in....
At the store I can usually check for scratches and make sure that a manual is included...
For those that buy used games online, how is the condition? And is there any way to make sure you get the manual with it?

All current gen (XB, PS2, GC, DS) used games at EB are guaranteed complete. You're actually better off online with that, as some of the older games in store are not complete (probably traded in before they started that condition).

I've never had a problem taking a game back that I wasn't completely satisfied with. Most of the time, they'll have another copy in the store or just give me some store credit. Saver, Edge, Cag 15/16 makes the deal even sweeter.
It's a great time to be a cheap ass gamer.
