What do i gain by telling you guys this info? Absoluting NOTHING... These price drops will occur!! I just dont know when the exact date is but its within 6 months and the prices they are looking at are around $99-120 range.

There is tremendous amounts of pressure on Sony to unload over priced UMD movies (as you might of noticed alot of the UMDs are Sony Pictures) and they need more units of hardware to hit the marks they want.. A price drop is CERTAIN.

Flame me if you want but I am never wrong with these types of predictions because they always come from a inside source.

I told future xbox 360 owners that Oblivion would not be a launch title and many people called me a Liar. But I dont see Oblivion available for the 360 yet...

so far, in their infinite wisdom, Sony has desperately tried to move more systems by moving the price point from 249$ to 299$ (albeit with a larger memory stick)... i don't see it going to 100$ or even 120$ within the next 6 months. I'm sure there will be a drop, but it will be to 199$, and possibly... POSSIBLY to 150$ if they're really in sad shape.

I dont think it will hapen I think there gonna push the psp with the 1 g memory soon within the next 6months and i think the 'drop' may be it will come at maybe only 30 dollars above the regular price of a psp right now so psp may drop like 30 dollars when that hapens but before christmas? nope its gonna sell right where it is.

I also remember seeing a $99 price drop in a Forbes article. I just dimissed it as a typo. I thought they meant PS2 will drop to $99, or they meant PSP will drop to $199.

I seriously doubt this will happen, but I'd be first in line to get a PSP if it does.
