Gamecrazy question

I just finished a trade with someone off of tradegamesnow for pokemon emerald, problem is the bastard lied about the condition of it and the label is scratched to hell.
This wouldnt bother a normal person but I'm a collector and I like everything to be nice and perfect. My question is, Gamecrazy has a used copy of emerald thats in great shape, do you think I could just trade my copy for theres?

Doubtful, unless you get a careless employee. It's like going into a store and asking to trade a disc only version of a game for one with a case.

I know my EB's going to let me do the disc-only for complete thing, but only because I buy a ton of stuff there and it came from there, and they know it'll sell anyway (it's a copy of Breath of Fire 4)

IF you had bought it there, maybe, though.

Buy it, take it home, wait a day, return the scratched up one you have and tell them the game is acting strange in your gameboy about 5 hours in and if you can get your money back.

Not the most ethical of solutions, but one that works.
