Where can I buy a protective cover for my DS's bottom screen?

Highlyh recommended. I have them in my DS for both screens. Can't go wrong with Hori:)

Heh, was just gonna bump the topic a page or two back. I actually now dislike it after spending a half hour just now trying to apply the top cover without a ton of air bubbles and somehow wound up scratching it, so I'll probably have to chalk that up to wasting $3.50 (EB sells them for $7) as it's annoying enough that I'll probably stop using it. The touchpad part was much stiffer and only has a few air bubbles that are hard to notice, so that one's fine.

Edit: And I guess I don't hate it as much. The scratches don't show up in Mario Kart, but if there's any dark scenes in some games, it'll probably be awful. So I will withhold further opinions for now.

You have to be real careful when applying the protectors. I got a credit card and as I was removing the top layer I slid the card downward. No air bubbles or nothing. Also be careful when applying the bottom protector, you gotta align it just right

I never had a problem apply these... no air bubbles... have this on my PSP & 2 DS...

you just have to make sure you don't put it on the wrong side...

Some of us aren't as skilled with mundane, skill-less tasks ;) I'm giving up on the top screen protector, just need to figure out how to do the touch screen protector correctly.

I watched my computer engineer bro apply it for me. I'm 21, and a grown competent man, but I'd rather let my bro, who's totally pro at such things, do it for me.

He uses Hori brand protectors.

Anyways, the top and bottom screen protectors have two plastic covers on both sides...you need to make sure the second you open the DS, before much dust lands (have a compressed air can ready) you get at least one of the screens going. Line it up, then peel the bottom away and hope for the best. Bubbles unrelated to dust, just air trapped in there, can be gently worked towards any edge of the protecter using a soft cloth or extra piece of plastic and some gentle pressure...just work them out. If there's dust, use a piece of scotch tape to lift the protector, then slip the tape underneath GENTLY and the dust should stick to the tape easily and the protector will fall back to the screen now dust-free.

The bottom screen of course takes the rougher more textured of the two protectors.

Anyways, happy screen covering. My bro did a perfect job on mine, with no bubbles, so I'm stoked.

Lates!

top screen isn't an issue to get scratch...

but the touch screen is must IMO...

A good investment if you want to sell you DS doen the line... in near mint condition.
