There's a crapload of stuff on there this time around, but only about three complete collections.
The new "Free DVD with any order" deal is pretty promising though. Let's hope we don't get Hello Kitty again...
PS: The link is always the same.

Mostly the same stuff as the previous sales over the past year, but the few new additions made it worthwhile. I ended up finishing up Rune Soldier Louie and caught the first volume of Yugo the Negotiator on the cheap. Toss in a free DVD as well and that pretty much makes me happy enough to overlook the overly large shipping price considering I doubt I'll get the package in three to five days.
If the shipping was less I wouldn't mind tossing in another order or two for some manga and random things (possibly finish up Dunbine) but...ugh, the shipping...noooo...

Nothing for me this time around. Still, Devil Lady and Princess Nine are worth picking up if you don't have them already.

I would pick up Princess Nine Collection, but I wish I could find the shipping price first.

Dear ADV,
Please drop the price of your live action movies further. Awesome, thanks.
I'm too cheap to get them for $12/ea. Another sale or two and hopefully they'll drop enough for me. ....Or sell out....

Depends. Some of the items they've had up there a long time ago disappeared for a few sales and then came back. Others didn't. I think it depends upon the popularity of the item and how long since it has been in print. Most of the smaller, older items like Slayers soundtracks and some particular anime DVDs went out and have stayed out while others like Nuku Nuku and Rune Soldier Louie and some others keep popping out and returning.
Here's hoping what you want gets a further discount, though. I'm still waiting for them to start lumping Dunbine DVDs together for lower prices. Either that or Nadia.

$6 (or was it $5?) for the first item, $1 for each additional item.

Nice. I was hoping the Nadesico movie would be on there, but at those prices I might just have to check out a new series or two.
Thanks OP.

Just got my order yesterday. I picked up complete collections for Dai-Guard, Burn Up Excess, Devil Lady, Princess Nine, Samurai X, and volume 1 of Najica Blitz Tactics. My bonus DVD was Chrono Crusade vol. 1; I was pleasantly surprised by seeing that, I was honestly expecting a Hello Kitty DVD. Very satisifed with my purchase. Less than $100 for all this stuff and it'll probably take me a year to watch it all. Thanks OP!

ADV was advertising that they were going to start having daily sales, but then they pulled all of those ads. Guess it didnt go through.

more like people who ordered from their holiday sales (read: the entire demographic they'd be targeting their daily sales to) realized that unless they were giving away daily items for free (they werent), they werent worth the additional 5 dollars per item in shipping, especially considering how long it took to ship and the items come defaced. In other words, for their hassle of putting up an item every day, they got less than 10 orders per day (and that's being optimistic).
for ADV sale price + $5, you may as well get it from TRSI.

Got my package from Fedex (well, my neighbor got it, apparently the dumbass at Fedex cant tell a 3 from a 1 - yes, the address was typed, and both houses have addresses next to the door ><)
They gave me a free Chrono Crusade volume 1, which is a lot better than Hello Kitty, lol. However one of my items was backordered. Anyone have any idea on how long they normally take for backorders?

K, thx, i was suprised that so many ppl ordered Super Milk Chan vol 1, i thought no one liked that show :-p.
Geneon really needs to have sales like ADV, Funimation too (so i can get some cheap FMA stuff).
