so fucking true, i bought an xbox because i wanted to play a lot of PC titles, but really didn't have the budget for it at all. <3 xbox, <3 others too, but not as much.
Great article. Especially love the "think about it this way, would you pay $50 to rent a 360 for a year?" line.

Come on, they're still complaining about $50 for Live...
Here's how you can tell which way their bias goes.
If they want to portray it in a negative light, they'll say its "a whopping $50 a year".
If they want to portray it in a positive light, they'll say its "a mere $4 a month".
Consider the alternative, PS2 online... I'll take the non-free model. Besides, you can get a year of Live for $30-$40, less if you try hard enough... $40 for a year is $3.33 a month, thats nothing. Games cost $50, and there aren't many of those that you'll play for a year.

Really long winded piece that goes nowhere, everywhere and makes no real point. I gave up after 4-5 pages. BLAH BLAH BLAH.
