Is there any place where I can buy just the DTS disc of Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd gig? Since I have a home theater that can play 5.1 and DTS, I don't see the need to spend full price on 2 DVDs when I'd only like one.

Best buy has the 2nd gig discs 2 for $25.
they don't make DTS only version of the shows. But you can buy the special addtiions for pretty good price on DDD.

The best buy deal was for the dolby disc only. Not the 2 disc dts+ dolby ltd editions. Like others said, you can olny get the 1 disk dd, or the deluxe 2 disk dd+ dts set.

I know they don't sell the DTS disc seperately, I was hoping there might be some ebay auction or anything else where the seller wants to sell just the DTS disc.

I have seen the occasional ebay with just one disk. I'd also check video stores.

If you want the DTS only, you can always try Netflix and Blockbuster Online. They let you select which one you want. 1 month free trial of Blockbuster code is "friends".
Just keep the dvd for 3 days, then mark it as 'lost'. Blockbuster will cut their losses, and the dvd is now yours.
