For some reason I often read "shipwreck" as "slidecage" and viceversa, so I'm probably confusing the two. Looking through his backlog he seems like a good enough guy. This caught my eye though:
I think there would be a lot more logical choices for moderator than you, bostonfrontier. You stir up too much crap. I'm not sure that we need anymore moderators at this point anyway. The forums seem to be under control.

Don't get apathetic and just accept things for the way they are, that's a dangerous thought to have.
I wouldn't mind being a mod because then you could just delete spam that you see, or move topics to the correct forums. I like things neat and orderly, so I think it would be nice to be able to contribute to the site in that manner.
This is a really good trait to have.
Use your new position to leave a positive mark on these boards, and hopefully you'll leave them better off than when you found them. Good luck.
