Hi all, I'm thinking of importing a beatmania IIDX game. However, the Beatmania PS2 controller is egregiously expensive at places like play-asia (http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-88-77-i-15-beatmania-70-3fh.html) and lik-sang (http://www.lik-sang.com/info.php?category=22&products_id=5221&). Would anyone happen to know where I could pick up a relatively inexpensive beatmania IIDX controller?

The idea is, preorder now, and hopefully they'll give you the game and the controller for $50. When they had Guitar Hero for the wrong price and people preordered it, they went ahead and gave it to them for the lower price.

I'm thinking about preordering, but I'm just not sure I'll want to spend the money when the time comes. I guess I could always cancel it later.

take a trip to japan and buy them for 40 bucks haha.
Errr, just so you know I bought the controllers when they first came out from hyper game action around 5 years ago and it cost 100 dollars plus tax..... Funny thing is I didnt get a modded ps2 to play the 3rd style I bought till about 3 years ago. It works for pC with the bemani emus for the PC tho.

They're even more expensive on ebay than lik-sang, with about 1/3 or more of the cost being shipping.

well they be jackin up prices then, I swore I saw some go for 60 on ebay recently with normal shipping
