View Full Version : New playable Xbox 360 kiosk found in Tokyo...someone notices!

Unlike the weak sauce Xbox 360 kiosk (http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=73496) found at Yodobashi Camera, this one was actually interactive, and had a playble demo of Kameo. It had other games such as Ninety-Nights, and PGR3, but they were limited to just videos.

I actually saw one Japanese guy playing the Kameo demo during our visit to this video store. This picture is not of him.

That was the same one I played on @ Best Buy. I really wanted to take the TV home with me :)

I was going to say that I'm surprised that the TV's are at normal eye level as opposed to the ceiling fixures at my Best Buy, but then I remembered that you are in Japan.

Wow...and the controllers aren't bolted down. You'd never see them like that over here.

Seriously, I don't see how you can walk the streets of Tokyo without helicopters and tanks circling you.

seriously dude, this has really made him look freakin HUGE. The other pics dont make him look as big, now hes like, in japan.

I guess now when theres like a crowd of people, you dont really have to look for a place to see, you can just stand behind the crowd and tower over them all

Yeah it is just like the one at my local Best Buy. Also why do you look like you're on a camping trip? Oh and did you notice the memory card slot? I wonder what Microsoft is going to do with that? Maybe downloadable content in future store display discs?

Wasn't on a camping trip...just biking around town. Rather than put a gay basket on my bike, I went for the generic cheap ass backpack.

Oh, and yeah, I'm big in Japan ;)

They have downloadable content on the display discs now. Take your memory card to one and download it.

The xbox 360 is getting some play in Japan, However it's still from an American so I don't think it counts.
