I just got word that Nintendo is doing ONE shipment of Animal Crossing before Christmas, and that's the shipment coming out next week. I'm guessing it'll be similar to Nintendogs where it comes out, sells out, and no one gets any more until the next month.

So yeah, if you want it, be sure to grab it ASAP or go ahead and put some money down on it.

Yeah, its nice having all those stores within a five or ten minute drive. I think I can afford to miss this one on its first shipment though, we'll see.

Every once in a while, it's not a bad thing to live in Northern VA. This would be one of those times...There's at least 100 places I can try to find it on Tuesday, hopefully BB will have it though so I can use the $10 off $29.99 coupon.

Is this confirmed or just a rumor? I find it hard to believe that such a highly hyped title would be hard to find ever.

Nintendo kind of learned from Nintendogs and consequently Mario Kart DS is *everywhere*, some stores still have like ten to fifteen copies on the shelves around me even though it's been selling briskly.

I really don't think it'll be hard to find. Guess we'll find out this week.

got one today. didn't pre-order. a lot of customers that came into the store today (TRU), got really lucky and started asking for Animal Crossing just as we got them delivered to us. I think we got about 20-25 copies in.

gamestop, ebgames... the places that normally do pre-orders... they didn't get the game in today at any stores around me

target, walmart... places that don't take pre-orders... they got tons of copies today

and that, my friends, is why i don't pre-order
