I'm in the process of preparing to import a copy of Jump Superstars. For those of you that have it, what are your impressions of the game?

one of the best games for DS.
although it does get old quite fast if you have nobody to play against, the computers are so easy no matter what difficulty they're on.
but the first time through is fun, and the whole deck making can get interesting later.
plus the sheer number of possibilities with the characters is just amazing.
it's well worth any price.

The more I think about it, the more excited I get. Eventually, my suitemates should be getting a DS, so at least we can do 4-play single-download. How well does that mode play?
And because I just started watching it, how is Ichigo from Bleach? =oP

read my mini review here.
As for single cart multiplayer, you can only use pre set characters so it is not as fun as when everyone has a cart.
Ichigo isnt a top tier but is still fun to use.

yeah, single cart is really bad, in my opinion.
you only get to use 3 or 4 different pre-made decks and even then, the decks contain the lowest version of the characters. so you won't be able to see the awesomeness.
Bankai ichigo is really strong although there are several characters that have the same level of strength. His up-x attack does ridiculous damage all around him.
Like everyone else said, it's a lot of fun the first time through unlocking everything but if you don't have anyone else to play with, it begins to drag. The AI is pretty bad so you shouldn't have any trouble beating the game.
But don't get me wrong. I love the game and especially if you know the characters from manga, it's absolutely fantastic!

Got it about a month back. Pretty deceent title, not exactly smash bros., but entertaining none-the-less. FYI, it's impossible to unlock all the characters and stages without a strong knowledge of japanesse and/or guide.

I got the game a long time ago. And as ppl have been saying its pretty fun first time around. As for the deck making its really a pain in the ass unless youre proficient in japanese. I know a little bit of japanese and i still cant figure out how to make a deck. Im glad to see you ordered it i hope you enjoy it ^_^

Alright, just got the game in the mail, complete and in excellent condition! I ordered it from www.whiterabbitpress.com (http://www.whiterabbitpress.com) using their xpress service (in which they impport almost anything). I highly recommend checking these guys out. They were very friendly over email and their shipping and handling fees are quite fair. I paid $30 shipped, compare that to 50+ elsewhere. Anyways, if you want a copy of Jump on the cheap, take a look here. I'm off to kick manga butt and plant some trees... o_O
EDIT: The cheapest shipping (from Japan) seemed to be faster than EB saver through usps. USPS rocks.

I can't search for the game on the site, do they still have it? or a DS section? I just see this PSP section.

I think you just contact them about getting it and they order it for you.

Had it but it was too text heavy for me so I sold it. OP would a used copy of Ossu! Tatakae! Ouendan! or Jam with the Band be around the same price ? And would I have to contact them about it? Also are there used games 100% complete? Thanks in advance.

Yes, anything not on their site you would have to ask for a quote. I did ask for one on Ossu, but he said his supplier was curently out of stock and that a new copy would cost $40 (not including shipping). You can also ask them if a used game comes complete or not (I asked for Jump). Pretty much, ask them anything about a product, and they will answer to the best of their ability. Wonderful service, a friend of mine just ordered a graphite ds from them.
EDIT: My guess is that a used copy of Ossu would also cost 30 shipped.

Thanks for the info, looks like I'll be ordering both soon if the price is right.

question. I am trying to make a new deck for this game and all of the Koma that I can choose from on my screen seem to be only help and support (blue and green colored), where are all the main characters?
thanks.

the main characters are 4 blocks koma. I think you might have to play a bit to unlock them.

are there levels that are available to you early on but you cannot clear them until later? Level 1-11 says I need to clear a level with a deck using 12 panels, or 10 help characters, or 5 support characters, at this point the manga at the bottom screen can only hold a max of 11 right now.

passed all the levels. The game is sort of fun I guess but the singleplayer is a bit boring and short.......
And i'm guessing there's no online play so u'll have to rely on somebody nearby having the game too..................................... As neat as it is to play all the jump charas I feel like I wasted my damn money....

It just needed some better AI and a couple more technical moves. But the novelty of playing as all the Jump characters was enough to warrant my purchase.
