wow is buffy the vampire slayer rare?

I was listing some of my crap the other day and I noticed that no one was selling buffy new and I still had it sealed so I listed it at 70 bucks just for the hell of it, just to see if anything would happen. Much to my suprise a few days later someone actually bought it. I think I bought it at walmart like a year ago for 5 bucks and just never got around to playing it, best investment ever.

just got back from shipping it out using the post offices electronic shipper. It looks like other people followed suit with my price because now people are selling new copies as high as 100 bucks.

And I actually sold mine for 60 and not 50 I guess.

Well, new and sealed, I guess the game would be pretty difficult to find. It had a reputation of being rare when it first came out (though I think this was artificially enhanced by the rabid Buffy fans). That being said, the game is actually pretty good and with all the Buffy collectors out there that are also gamers, I'm not surprised it could sell at that price.

BTVS was a very good game. My friend thought I was nuts for buying it but once he played it at a local EB Games he was hooked and bought one for himself. The second game, Chaos Bleeds, was okay but not near as good as the first game.

The Buffy game is rad as hell. If I had $10 and a Circuit City nearby I'd order Chaos Bleeds. Smoother gameplay and graphics.

I bought it the same month it came out August 2002 along with my first XB, I actually still have it, lol..was selling it on my TL for $7but I might actually keep it now ;)

Some people like to pay 5 for buffy, some people like to pay 60. it's all in the luck of the draw.

Bought it at ebgames 7.99, beat the game in 3 months tops. One of the best action games on xbox in my opinion. I also have plans to buy the second edition which is 7.99.

I love it when people don't even play a game and then have the balls to say they are sure it sucks. Buffy is one of the 10 hidden gems of this generation.

I got mine during that sale as well. After I bought it, I changed my mind but it was too late to return it so I sold it on EBay just hoping I would get my $4.99 back. It sold for I think $20.xx (this was summer 2004).

Haha, sold out! I remember this game getting very good reviews in the low 90%'s from the magazines. I never really followed it but the videos on the old OXM demo's looked nice.

The difficulty ramps up quite a bit maybe 1/2 way through, so unless you spent several hours a day with it, I can imagine it taking a month or more to complete (without using cheat codes). :D
