For christmas, I'd like to ask for a box set collection of an anime series. But first I'd like to see all the available box sets they have out there, not just a specific anime distributor. Does anyone know any sites that list all current anime box sets? Thanks.

I don't know of a site listing specifically which series have box sets, but there are tons. Most series these days get a box release.
Try checking animeondvd.com - they generally have a pretty comprehensive list in their review archives. If there's a particular list of shows you're interested in, check the alphabetical reviews to see if a box set listing comes up.

Wow that list is going to be huge upon belief. try some of the distributors web sites. they have the trailers on them and could give you a better idea of what you might like
www.advfilms.com
www.geneonanimation.com
www.centralparkmedia.com
from what i have watched most of the better animes are distributed from adv but geneon still has some hits as well. Good luck to finding what you might like.

My friend you will be looking through a lot of box sets if you are going this route. You need to specify what you like from the start because if you don't you will be upset at how much of it is out there.

Try going to Rightstuf.com and doing an advanced search for anything on dvd and over 300 minutes. That should do the trick.

Here's a great resource for some of the best anime available. Covers all genres and goes back as far as anime has been on DVD. Most of the series on the list should be in box sets by now.
