View Full Version : Who else feels thier HDTVs have finally been satisfied?

Anyone else here with HDTVs feel like they've finally been satisfied by the 360? I know I have. Sure there have been PC games, but there's something about the console that completes the experience.

I know CRT people might not notice as much but all those 480i ps2 games were just getting on my nerves. And the fact that most Xbox games didnt support 720p just got me annoyed =/.

Yea definitely, I almost cried when I brought home my HDTV home like a month ago and started playing PS2 games on it (Soul Calibur 3 being an exception). Was so much uglier than my standard tv and nearly 10x the price. A couple of the nicer xbox games helped a bit and so did DVD's, but now that i finally got my hands on a 360, im entirely content with the purchase.

other than the fact i have a HDTV receiver, that has satisfied my tv LONG before my 360 ever did, yeah its pretty happy.

HDTV Is one thing, but content is still rather limited at times. About 5 shows worth watching a week? I was more mentioning for gaming anyway. We already know there are some WMV9 files out there. I'm starting to watch Jdrama in 720p

AMEN to that! Once I can get some quality skin flicks in 1080i, I will be in heaven.

360 main reason why I got my HDTV in 1st place... really happy...

I tempted to plug the 360 to a standard TV.. to see the difference....

Try flipping the switch on the A/V cable to standard from HD. I forgot to turn it on and thought when I started playing it didn't look that good but then I flipped it on and it looked way better.

The 360 satisfied me and sunday ticket offering the hd package so i have most football games in HD
