I'm getting close to completing my poor man's projector. However, there's one more device that I really need to find. I need to get a transcoder of some sort to convert progressive and HD component signals to VGA as well as a device that will take S-video input.

So far, I've just found one product that seems to fit the bill. The VD-Z3 by VDigi Electronics.

However, the thing about this bad boy is that it only takes component input and no S-video. So, I'm hoping that someone around here either knows of a different product that does the same thing, only with S-Video.

On top of that, if anyone knows of any transcoders that are better, or at least alternatives so that I can read reviews on them. I'm sure I can buy myself a cheap transcoder that accepts an S-video and composite signal and send that into the VGA input signal, but I was hoping to be less roundabout. That being said, if it comes down to that, can anyone recommend a decent and inexpensive VGA box that accepts S-video?

So, to wind it up, I'm looking for:
-Good Component to VGA transcoder that outputs Progressive and HD signals
-A transcoder that has both component and S-video in it
-A cheap VGA box that has VGA, Composite and S-video in with VGA out.

Thanks in advance.
