I was just wondering if anyone has had any problems playing EA games on their 360s. I rented NBA Live 06 and every 15 minutes a message would pop up saying that the system couldn't read the disc. It said that the disc's region coding was wrong or that it was dirty. I know the disc was good because I was the first to rent the game. I figured that it was just the game so I took it back and got NFSMW this game just kept freezing on me and eventually the game was scratched by my system. While laying in horizontal position! Then I recently purchased Madden and I got the same message. I am wondering whether or not it is my system or what. I have COD2 and it is perfect. It froze one time on me after playing for three hours. And I didn't have my system ventilated good when it froze. I am hesitant to send it to MS because I purchased the 2 year PRP from BB. On the other hand I will have to wait to get it from BB. Has anybody else had problems with games or systems like this. Or do you think it was a bad batch of games. Tell me what you think. Thanks ahead of time.

That has happened to me once with PDZ and it corrupted my save for PDZ. I don't know what it is, but it hasn't happened anymore. Call up MS if you are so worried. That's what they are there for.

yeah that's what I'm going to do. It is just a pain in the butt to be put on hold forever and then get someone who doesn't speak english. Also if they tell me to send it in and they replace it I will be losing money from the product replacement plan I purchased.

Why do EA games crash so much? I only get the dirty disc error when I play EA games. I truely believe this is not a dirty disc error, its a crash. Plain and simple.

It just isnt showing a blue screen (BSOD).

After all, whats worse, a dirty disc message or a system crash message or reboot.

I have had dirty disc errors on several EA games and none of them have even a fingerprint on them.

Although, in all fairness, I dont think this is just an EA thing. It just happens to be all the EA games I own, have had this problem.
