Anyone know where i can get a graph or something that shows what cell phone services have the best signal / least dropped calls. I saw something on CNN and Consumer reports lately but i can't find it. Also what service u got and are u happy with it?

I would just go to their websites and look at the coverage area...I have AT&T and they are pretty decent...They have coverage in alot of places and I barely lose a signal...and now they have ABSOLUTLY NO ROAMING!...Cingular bought them so that is a downside

I know a person who knew a person who tried all of the services he could find, and Nextel has the best coverage and least dropped calls. He's had the phone for 2 years and have only had 2 dropped calls.

I have Verizon, and I have no problems. Their coverage area is quite large. As Karma said, I would visit their sites for coverage areas b/c that will give you the best idea of what their service will be like.

I have sprint, and I'll tell you. They have good plans, but they have pretty bad service. I can be in one spot and have 2 or 3 bars, which is sufficient, and be talking for an hour, and then all of a sudden, no signal. It sucks. But they do have a plan for roaming included which comes in handy sometimes.

ive jot att wireless in SF,CA and it is utter crap. Dropped calls, no service in many areas. And now, when I have no reception my phone says "Cingular" and displays full reception, but i cant do outgoing calls. Call tech, said this happens when you are roaming, and I have never left the state and barely leave the bay area. My friends have t-mobile and verizon and it works great.

It depends on where you are. It seems that each provider has its own "good region". Near New York, it's Verizon. In the LA area, AT&T was the best. I think if you tell us what part of the country you're in we could help you more.

I used to work for Verizon and i hated it when customers would come in and tell us this line as if no one before them had thought of it *shudders*

I have US Celluar and I'm pretty happy with it. Customer service is only so-so, but I can't remember the last time I had a call dropped.

Where, in the subways? I always have service everywhere in the area. I used to have AT&T and that sucked. Verizon is giving me coverage everywhere I've been to since I signed up. Also, not too long ago Headline News rated the cell phone service in a few of the major cities, and they said in New York Verizon is the best, with T-Mobile a distant second.
