I want to download some of the Super Bowl commercials they're hosting, but I can't figure out how. Does anyone out here know? Better yet, is there another site that's hosting this year's commercials for download?

The real reason you want to know is so you can download the boobies.

If I'm not mistaken Ifilm offers downloadable version dont they? It's been a while since I've been there so maybe they dont anymore. But it IS possible to save streaming files but only if the server that they're stored on isn't protected from direct downloads.

If you can find the exact address in the page html(might take a bit of digging) you can find it's true url but the server it's on may exclude you for not having permission.

Those old boobies were already posted in another thread. The boobies I'm referring to are the unique films that show up on that site from time to time.

No...I just want the commercial with the donkey. :D

Trust me...I'd be able to find porn if I wanted to. Seeing as I still live with (and share computers with) my parents, that's not neccessarily a good idea. I appreciate breathing, eating, and seeing sunlight. :D

Their Super Bowl site (http://www.ifilm.com/?sctn=collections&pg=superbowl2004) says that the movies are streaming. I know that that's not an obstacle - the files have to be hosted somewhere, and it really wasn't that hard to get to those streaming Clone Wars shorts that were hosted on StarWars.com.

If anyone's got any ideas, let me know.

there's a site called adcritic.com that, last year or the year before that, lets you watch the commercials and you can save it because quicktime, their format, allows you to save your streams. now you have to pay for their services i think.

If you have BitTorrent (which is free) you can download all of the commecials here (http://www.torrentz.com/torrents/download_2655) or.....

this place has them all separately and you can download them with a right click. GO HERE (http://web.ics.purdue.edu/~jafrey/superbowlads.html)

Hopefully that will get you what you want. and no, that won't tell you how to download the bjoobies from IFilm. if you want to do that.......

Yes! Here's how to download ifilm movies:

1. Use MOZILLA.

2. LEFT Click "Watch Now!"

3. New window opens, (an ad might play for 30 seconds); wait for your movie to start.

4. Note: MUST be in Quicktime (click "Change Preferences" if not).

5. Once the movie is playing, RIGHT click in area just below movie itself.

6. Choose "View Page Info."

7. Click "Media" tab.

8. On this list, find the object described as "Embed" - address begins with "http://www.ifilm.com/QTPlaylist?..."

9. Copy this shortcut.

10. Using CoCSoft StreamDown, download the copied shortcut.

No, I'm not trying to sell you CoCSoft StreamDown - I have nothing to do with it. In fact, I'm still on my 15 day free trial. But after downloading two 20 minute movies with it (and using the above steps) you can bet I'm going to purchase it (found it on download.com) once my trial is up.

Happy Downloading!!!
