Anyone see that movie, Man in the Moon? That was about Kaufman. I've seen some Taxi episodes on Nick at Nite and some of his standup, but I didn't really see why he's regarded as some comedy genius.

i dont think his work was profound, nor do i think im cool because i understood what he did, but i found him hilarious, the stuff he did was really classic, and its sad that hes gone, because he should still be alive and fucking with all of us

i didnt like andy kauffman on taxi when i saw it (like when i was 5), but Man on the Moon is one of my favorite movies....if you just sit through the whole thing, and like crude comedy...you'll love it....and you will cry
