Free MP3 converter? [Mobile/Archive]

I want to put some MP3s on my PSP for a plane trip in a few days. Does anyone know of any free MP3 converters that I could use?

Are you just talking about ripping songs from a CD into mp3 format? If so, there are a ton of options. I just use iTunes since that's what I use for all my music needs.

Basically, but I also already have a lot of music ripped to my computer, but it is all WMA. My MP3 player accepts WMA, so that's just what I've always used. I want to be able to convert the tracks I already have ripped into MP3 format for the PSP.

Doesn't the latest upgrade (2.65 or something) lets you use WMA's?

Version 2.6 allows you to play WMAs, make sure your PSP is model number PSP-1001

I'd upgrade, but my 2.0 is allowing me to play all the current games I have while still enjoying SNES and NES Emus. If they crack 2.6 then I'll upgrade.

The new windows media player lets you convert music to mp3 format.

Yeah, I think wavs were enabled on the psp.

I downloaded the newest version, but I don't see an option to do this. How do I convert on WMP?
