Since I hardly touch my psp I have noticed when ever I turn it on the battery is always dead. I know the last time I used it that it was fully charged. Does this happen to a lot of psp owners?

Its most likely because you think your psp is off but it isnt, it might just have the screen off. When your done using your psp dont forget to turn it off, and then dont forget to put your psp on hold(so you dont turn it on by mistake)

Also, if your using 1.5 if there is a UMD in your psp while you play homebrew or mp3s or video or anything it drains the battery. 2.0 fixes that

I hold the off swith for a few seconds. How do I know that it is completely off? No hombrew here and I also take out the games when I am done.

Yeah hold the off/on button till it turns off on its own. then let go when its off. otherwise you have it on hold.

My brother Mr. Deets has the same problem. We think it is the battery!

I dont know, I only play it maybe once a month. My ds gets all the attention right now. Maybe we will get a god of war or something cool for the psp soon.
