Dont Update To 2.60

I am not exactly sure, but wouldn't this be covered under warrenty? I don't see why they would refuse to replace your system unless your system is not "model number PSP-1001" according to http://www.us.playstation.com/psp.aspx?id=softwareupdate

Did you notice anything that went wrong during the update? What exactly does your PSP do now when you power up?

it went to 77% died out i turned it back on only seeing a black screen but the green light on the power thing is on no sounds to and merio stick light doesnt show up....... and i want the new psp games for x-mas ><

Umm, if you turned it off during the update it wasn't the update, it was the turning it off during the update. NEVER do this.

Moving away from the retarded posts here, I upgraded my Japanese PSP to 2.60 the day I got it and everything works fine. The RSS streams are wonderful.
