Please tell me I'm not the only East Texas CAG. Nacogdoches, here. Just wondering if anyone else exists.

Lucky!

I lived in Tyler for either 12 years or 18 years - depends on whether you count coming home for Summers during College as "living there". My parents still live there and I'm going to visit for Christmas.

I've lived in a lot of places - there's something special about East Texas and Tyler in particular. No Game Rush or Game Crazy though!

Oh yeah, as for my CAG activities in East Texas, I picked up a Suikoden II guide at the Game X-Change in Tyler over Thanksgiving for $5 :b

I found a copy of it in Lufkin over the summer. Right after I'd ordered it from Gamestop.com, like two weeks before. So I have two copies now. :D :D

The game or the guide? I got the strategy guide, though I'm impressed if you have either 2 of the game or 2 of the guide!

The game! It was within like two or three weeks of each other, I got two copies of Suikoden II. After looking for it everywhere. Small world, huh? The one from Gamestop.com shipped from Killeen.

I can't believe you were even able to find it available on Gamestop.com! The only "rare" games I have ever found on there are Rhapsody (long before the re-release) and Valkyrie Profile. Congrats!

As for Gamestops, I once went into a Gamestop in KC (where I live now) at the end of their B2G1 Sale and caught a glimpse of Suikoden II hiding on the back shelf. Told the guy I wanted it and he begrudgingly gave it to me (I think I got a pair of Star Trek Season sets with it to complete the B2). I got transferred to Minneapolis, but was in town visiting my g/f and dropped in on the same GS because they were running the B2G1. Would you believe, sitting in a stack of games on the same shelf behind the counter, I once again spied out a Suikoden II?

The guy looks at me and says "You look familiar" and I was like "yeah, I used to live here". Then he says "You're the guy who bought our last Suikoden II!" I had been in the store probably 3 times over a span of 1.5 years, and both B2G1 sales I got the only Suikoden II's the store had ever had in. :)

Though I tried my hardest, I naturally gave into the relentless call of the Ebay Sirens and have since sold each of the games (How do you hold a game you've already beaten when it's worth $100+?)
