I like the new format, but can you please color or highlight the systems? Makes it much easier to read.. thanks

For those that don't have it on XBox, that GTA Trilogy for $29.99 @ Best Buy is a great deal.. not only that, but you could use that $10 off coupon and get it for $19.99, making that deal absolutely insane.

agreed, the gta trilogy for $30(or $20 AC) is a lot of gaming, probably a months worth of gaming right there.

Definately. But play them in order! Once you play San Andreas, it's hard to go back (mainly because of the additions like swimming and climbing over fences/walls). I paid full price for all three, so getting all three for $19.99 is absolutely in-frickin'-sane. Those three games could keep you busy well into March.

Already bought my GTA:Trilogy today! :D And from the looks of it, the last one in their cabinet (it was behind a glass case for some reason instead of the usual shelf). Gonna go rebuy it tomorrow at $29.99 and tack on the $10 coupon! Woohoo, what a week!

Though I'll be getting King Kong from BB with the extra $10 off coupon, why isn't it $29.99 for the Xbox at TRU when the PS2 version is? Makes no sense. Oh well. Too bad TRU doesn't PM anymore since I have some Geoffrey dollars that need to be spent on a good deal.

Just go to this thread:

http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=74470

Usually you can get CC to match competitor's coupons so you can take the BB coupon to CC to get the $10 bucks off.

Or

You can take the ad to Bestbuy from CC and PM it then use the coupon for 10 bucks off.

circuit city wouldn't pricematch my best buy coupon today, so only made out with prince of persia 3 for 29.99. plan on calling and asking a manager what the price match policy is for the store though. deeeefinitely not going down without a fight on this one.

I hope Circuity City price matches my BB coupon..last time It took about 3 hours for the manager to come down and after arguing he wouldn't budge..so I just bought one game for 10 bucks off..rather than 2 or more..sucks though..thx for the heads up on the deals...am going to maybe buy most of Ubisoft's Titles at that price.

Whew, what an adventure I had today. I first went over to my local TRU to buy Nanostray and Bust a Move DS for $30. They only had Bust a Move...I guess they sold that last copy of Nanostray that I saw a few days ago. I then decided that I wasn't going down without a fight, so I drove to the TRU downtown which was around 20 mins apart. I found the VERY last copy of Nanostray, but no dice on the Bust a Move. I was about to call my local TRU to see if I could buy Nanostray at the downtown TRU, and then pick up Bust a Move for $30 at my local one.

However, I asked one of the employees if they had Bust a Move, and I guess they were too lazy to put it out on shelves. Score! That saved me the hassle of going back to the other one. All in all, I'm one happy man. I "hid" some of the games that I plan on buying for the big Thursday price drops next week.

What are the select Nintendo game available with the Gamecube bundle at TRU?

Pikmin 2/Metroid 2/F-Zero and some other title I can't remember. Not only that but an extra third party controller is included, so for $99 bucks, you get a GC with 2 games (Mario Party 7 being one of them), and 2 extra controllers (one being a first party controller). Great deal!

Oh happy day! So my best Sunday deals this year so far, I got GTA:T for $19.99 after coupon at BB, then whored the coupon at another BB that had King Kong in stock and bought that for $19.99 (and YES both the PS2 and Xbox version have a movie ticket included for those wondering) and then hit up a CC by my home for POP3 and actually got the cashier to match the coupon for it bringing it to $19.99! :applause:  I was ecstatic I didn't have to fight. She said another guy had come through earlier and had a big long stink at the register with a manager so she didn't want to deal with it again. Quite the grand shopping day for me, man I'm backlogged on games like a beaver on steroids (yeh, bad joke but I just needed to share the excitement) and have a good 3 dozen games now that I have yet to play. Who needs to wait in line for a 360 when I've still got so many great games? By the time I finish all the games waiting the 360 will be in it's prime and probably had a price drop already. I Love CAG.

Thanks for posting the ads this week Thunderscope! One thing of note for futue purposes though, is that if you happen to post them again, could you just separate the deals per store instead of per system?

Anyway, one thing that caught my eye was

Best Buy

Pokemon: Emerald $29.99. After coupon that would make it $19.99 and it would come with the free wireless connector. Not bad, think I'll get it since I missed it when it was first on sale.

There is a movie ticket in King Kong for xbox or ps2 and I believe it expires Jan 15th? (2006 of course if that's not a given)

Last night I went into a Target to check for clearence games, and I saw a sign for a "Gameboy Bundle" for 69.82. It said prices were valid 12/18-12/24, and from the sound of it it came with the system and at least a game, if not more. It also said "new brighter screen" so it must be the pearl/graphite SPs. There was nothing physically in the glass case, so I couldn't tell what it was. Looking at the ads on this site, I don't see it mentioned either.

I don't get ads so I couldn't look it up in the paper. :/

Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Would be nice to pick up a graphite DS and a game and then try to sell the game or something....

That sounds like the exclusive bundle they sold on BF... pearl blue (which I actually like more than I expected) with Super Mario Advance 2. Similar price, though I don't remember exactly.

I would have investigated more but it was 10:15 at night, I was in the middle of a 6 hour drive home that didn't end until 2:30, and I'd been up since 8 that morning doing preliminary holiday stuff. And I'd already bugged the clerk about some PSP games so I didn't feel like being a pest again.

I'll check the local Target here and see what the deal is.

Anybody able to find the Mario Kart DS bundle at TRU? I went to one and called 2 more, all sold out. They all said it was a limited edition bundle and they don't know if they're gonna get any more in.

I took the ad to Best Buy and pricematched it. So for $149.99+tax I got the bundle ($150) + Ultimate Spiderman ($40) + PSP Pro Gamer's Kit ($30) (they were out of the DS one) + a Best Buy gift card ($10). I guess that gift card is Best Buy's own promotion. Great deal though!

Pikmin 2/Metroid 2/F-Zero and some other title I can't remember. Not only that but an extra third party controller is included, so for $99 bucks, you get a GC with 2 games (Mario Party 7 being one of them), and 2 extra controllers (one being a first party controller). Great deal!

The other one was Wario Ware GC.

"Price-matched" the deal at BB, but they only would give me a $15 value because TRU was out of something (systems too..). So I bought Super Mario Strikers for myself and got a $10 gift card. :)

Very good Best Buy experience

Also, there was the little divider things that have the name of the game and price on them, and I could've sworn I saw a one in the Gamecube section that said "Tony Hawk's American Wasteland $34.99" they had one with the regular price though so I don't know, didn't really think much of it.

Does anybody have a scan of the TRU flyer showing the DS bundle? The ad on their website isn't conducive to printing. I need to run over to circuit city after work for a pm.

Thunderscope, the time you put forth in providing us with this thread is greatly appreciated, but I wonder if you could be kind enough to also include PC games? There are a lot of us who are looking for sale priced PC games in addition to those for the consoles. Thanks.

Is this still in effect?

Is NFS:Most Wanted worth it for $34 (the price at Target)?

Is NFS:Most Wanted worth it for $34 (the price at Target)?

It depends. If you've played NFS Underground or Underground 2 to death, then Most Wanted will be a bit more of the same thing. If that's good enough for you, then by all means, go for it.

I got every EA game at half price since a friend of mine worked at the EA complex before getting laid off last week, so the value of price didn't really matter much to me.

But again, if you haven't played any of the previous two NFS games, Most Wanted should be worth every penny... especially at $34.
