I was wondering if anyone knew of a program to create music with. Specifically what I'm looking for is something like a program called Techno eJay. There was a whole bunch of sampled sounds and beats and that could be put in approximately 16 tracks and edited. I know of Frooty Loops but that seems to only be for beats.

Also, does anyone know where I can locate a chord with a regular jack on one end for plugging into my guitar or keyboard and a usb head on the other end for hooking into my computer?

For beginners, I recommend Acid Music (or ACID Pro). Its all loop based music.

If you are a little more advanced, try a program called Reason 3.
