they also had resident evil umrella chronicles for $25 on clearence there was only 1 copy

it may not be a club, but all of the indian casinos (barona, cyquan, viejas) are 18+ and have poker halls. I don't know if they're still offering the "sign up for our card and get a free buffet" but i remember when that was such an attractive offer and an easy way to waste time.

I beleive the card houses are all 21+ (ocean's 11 in carlsbad/oceanside)

I've got a poker set my roommate left behind. Don't know if it has 500 chips, though. It's a pretty nice one... it's round and all the poker chips fit in it and the packs of cards fit in the middle. I think it swivels, too.

No, in fact I was at five different Targets today (had a 10% coupon, not looking for Madden) and none of them had dropped the price yet. I visited Sports Arena, East Lake, Chula Vista/4th Ave., Plaza Bonita and Mission Valley. Plaza Bonita did have some of the 360 clearance titles at 50% off (Bully and KOH:Circle of Doom were two I saw in particular), but they were pretty much sold out on the Wii stuff.

Yes, use the public transit. Don't even bother with the taxis.

The street shopping area: Temple Street night market, starts at sundown every night, temple street and 1-2 others in Kowloon district.

as a former employee, beleive me when i say, you're always being watched. and it's funny the kind of things people will do to try to be inconspicuous. I picked up a GrimGrimoire at the El Cajon Wal-Mart a long time ago for $12.76 or something like that. It might be worth checking it out for that price, but I doubt they'd be there any more.

I'd get Fallout 3 day one, but with Fable II, there is no way I will have time to play such a massive game. However, I loved Oblivion so I will eventually have to get it when I have some time.

As for Gears 2, I am thinking of getting it. I still think Gears 1 was great. However, Gears 2 doesn't seem to offer anything new that gets me excited. I could probably play Gears 1 over again and have just as much fun (I've only played through it once). I'd almost just get it at launch due to its hype. Then again, if I did that, I'd be buying 10 games in the next month...

welp, i scored the last one from the Target on Broadway (the one you mentioned, xrickyb86x). my wife was in N. County shopping for Thanksgiving supplies and couldn't get there before closing, but i decided i wanted it bad enough to head out the door at 8:30, so i did.

at first i thought they were sold out, but i knelt down and looked way under the shelf at the bottom of the case, and there it was. guess someone snagged the other in between our purchases (an employee, perhaps?). quite an impressive SE, indeed, though i wouldn't have ever considered paying full price. heck, i didn't even buy the standard edition, so this is quite the reward to myself for holding out so long.

The grand opening sale was a couple of weeks ago on a Friday (w/ special early bird on Thursday for RZ members). If you haven't been, you should check it out. It is smaller than the usual BB. It is carpeted and has a boutique-like feel to it. It seems a little more high end than other BB's. Tonight is an invitation only sale...just like at the other BB's. If you are a Reward Zone member, they sent an invite or you can get one online.

no way. Chula Vista/National City stores (not just BB) always get hit the hardest, for being the closest to the border. it gets bad down this way.

i picked up the Transformers BD from BB.com, backordered the $150 S350 player from SonyStyle.com (fingers crossed!), and nabbed Untouchables and Trading Places on BD, both from Amazon.com, all without having to leave the house! i'm set. i haven't seen a thing in any ad this year that makes me even remotely consider braving that miserable sea of flesh and hair and sweat.

nice. ive never had much luck with pming door buster items.
as for the screen protector. i have the hori version on one of my ds's
works good, gives the screen a different look to it though. ive put far more time into the other 2 ds's without protectors and i havent noticed much wear. a lot less than id expected. id be interested in getting a zagg for it though, i think thatd be by far the best.
i have zagg on my iphone nd my daughter has tried to chew it and it held up.

It looks like Wiis are getting less rare around these parts. I've been spotting them regularly for some time now at the Target and Walmart around me in Eastlake. At first, I was like "WOW, they actually have one in stock! I didn't even have to line up to see it!" Then it was "No way, there's 3 here? They must've just now put them on the shelf." Recently, it's become "Looks like nobody wants these anymore. There's more Wiis than DSs here." Anyway, the Wii stockpiles are probably in anticipation of xmas, I guess.

you're fine. single occupant drivers use the HOV lane all day long, and unfortunately, they almost never get pulled over. i wish they'd have heart attacks and veer off the road, but... ;)

anyway, no you're fine. if someone didn't pull you over, you're in the clear. they don't have cameras set up to catch you or anything.

I realized i dont really play it. I have Smash Bros Brawl, Mario Galaxy, Wario Smooth Moves, 4 Controllers, 2 Nunchucks and a 2gb SD Card.

What is that... $420 Would that be a fair price to list on craigslist?

i'm selling my Wii to my friend: it includes the Wii w/Wii Sports, 4 remotes, 1 nunchuck, Super Mario Galaxy, Zelda: TP, Excite Truck, a bunch of remote sleeves, and a new Zelda carrying bag, all for $325. don't know if that's fair or not, but it's less than i'll make on Ebay, and less than he'd pay for everything new by far, but it also saves me the hassle of listing online and putting up with jerks, so it sits well with us both.

Yeah, use the website and have the DVDs delivered to your library. You can also sign up with the library to have your notices emailed to you, so you can go get your stuff pretty much the same day it arrives at the library (vice waiting on the USPS).

There are still a lot of Endwar bundles (ps3) at Bestbuys around the county. Also at the Best Buy I went to, they were offering a free strat guide with the bundle purchase.

I'll probably get flagged for this but oh well. Beat the system!
The game inside the bundle box is shrinkwrapped and indistinguishable from the stand alone game. I flipped this over at Walmart since they have a no receipt return policy. Also gave the strat guide to my sibling so they could return it to BB for $20.

The bundle is $49 and at Wally's it's $59.74. Essentially got a free bluetooth headset and turned $50 into $60 in store credit.

The BB side of the deal ends 12/27. The headset is very nice out of the box. I've still yet to test it, but it seems the overall majority holds it in high regard.

The wireless headset is money. Reception is clear and it's really nifty when paired to the ps3 via USB first. Extremely comfortable as well. It's also fairly nice looking (comparable to jawbone) and has a nice charge dock from which you could go into speaker mode (don't have to wear it on the ear). And of course it can be used with your bluetooth capable cell phone.

You know what? Congrats, Chargers. Seriously. 4 weeks ago there was no way in hell anyone would have picked them to get a playoff spot, much less win their division. Now they've done exactly that, though it's been touch-and-go for a bit.

I'll be rooting for you for the next 2 weeks. After that, though, it's on (hopefully). :)

they have IMO the best game in the payoffs next weekend. if they come in like they did for his game its going to be awesome.

Darren Sproles NEED a contract extension. What sucks is that this guy does not get the credit he deserves, even in Madden his OVR rating is SO low! I knew this guy was gonna be special to the Chargers after what he did to teams like Broncos and Colts 2 years ago. This guy is just awesome!
