Well, I figured I'd start a thread where everyone could find out what we all got for our respective Holiday of choice this year.

Clothing:
The Legend Of Zelda pajama pants

OMFG. I soooooooo want a pair of those. Got any pics???? I need Zelda pajama pants to match my huge ass Zelda shirts I got from video game preorders!

Ok, now I need to wake up Mr. Spacepest so we can open our presents. But what I got him:

Small Xmas tree for his own office-to put all his marvel action superhero Xmas ornaments on, a tiny tree with a bunch of Spiderman, Superman, Catwomen, Lex Luthor, etc., climbing all over it is really a sight to behold.

Xbox games he wanted-Oddworld Stranger's Wrath, Lego Star Wars, and a last minute cheapy $10 TRU copy of Bloodrayne 2.

While this may not seem alot, Xmas came early for us this year. Last month we bought ourselves a whole new set of office furniture, a new LCD pc monitor.

I'll post later what my haul is.

I hope you enjoy Sirius as much as I have. I had it installed in my girlfriends car for her b-day last August. Seriously, you'll never listen to regular crappy radio ever again.

I am reserving my spot for what I got so far:

These are from the girlfriend, uzumaki_star on the site:

Genji for PS2
Tokobot PSP
World Series of Poker PSP
Infected PSP (Got this and WSOP for early gifts and played them already)

The games I won in the Child's Play Raffle (Consider these gifts from CAG):

Metal Gear Solid 2 PS2
Disgaea PS2
R: Racing Evolution PS2
Final Fantasy 7 PS1

These from trade/sales that I did but won't be coming until just after christmas:

Lumines PSP
Burnout Legends PSP

So videogame wise I am having a terrific christmas. I will probably be taking Infected and giving it to my nephew because he doesn't know it but my sister got him a PSP for christmas but didn't buy him any games.

I wish I would of asked for a gift card for EBgames now that I think about it.

She refused to let my little brother come over because this year, we are having christmas at my house (my dad's) and she went pyscho and it is basically a custody battle on christmas eve & christmas. Besides, that Christmas is going well and I will post what I will get later.

From my girlfriend I got:

Napkin with ketchup packets and a fork tied to it
Power rangers ninja storm band-aids
Two rubber-maid's full of pistachios
Silence of the Lamb DVD
Care bear stuffy
Big bag of skittles
candy cane

pretty much the best gift i've ever gotten, as every gift has large significance in late night conversations we've had, or just talks on the bus, and it means a lot more to me that she remembered all of that, than if she had just went out and bought me something expensive like all my previous girlfriends have.

EDIT:
$30 future shop gift card
very nice cell phone
40 year old virgin DVD
cell phone accessories
etnies shirt
nice over-shirt/jacket thingy, dont know what to call it
poker set
hair pommade
some magazines

already bought myself Guitar Hero for XMas, going to go buy Final Fantasy IV, Shadow of the Colossus, Dragon Quest VIII, and maybe something else on Boxing Day.

I'm in no position to judge, as obviously sentimental value is much more important than material goods. It just seems strange that that is the best gift when its mostly little kids stocking stuffer stuff, or stuff you pick up free at fast food restuarants. Then again, the emotional aspect is what makes it so important.

Though I know some games I got. The main reason being is my mother always buys too much stuff and we can't really afford it, so as a way of hopefully saving money she paid for a bunch of stuff I got at recent sales (toys r us, circuit city etc.) for 5 or 10 bucks each. I just went down and paid for it, then she gave me what I paid and I gave her the games. The goal is to make her realize she has enough stuff without actually spending a lot.

Though I don't know anything else I'm getting other than a nintendo game. The only reason I know that is because I found a wrapped gift that felt exactly like a nintendo box (and I did ask for a few complete nes games), so I'm pretty sure my father got me one. Don't know which though.

I have no problem with gift cards either. However it just seems like they are more common and acceptable. I remember suggesting to my dad last year to get my sister gift cards cause she will just take back all the cloths he buys her. He acted like I ruined Christmas. However this year he mainly got everyone gift cards.

My mom went over to her friends house to get our gifts from her. I get to open her gift tonight. Everything else tomorrow, I'm not to excited about her gift. Last year I got a shaving cream hot lather machine. The year before I got a metal truck that held nuts and a nut cracker.
So this year I'm thinking it will be something like um a cheap shaver or a piece of art of some sort. i.e. a painting of animals or a small sculpture of some sort.

I did buy this for myself. Its the one on the bottom.

Its funny me and the wife usually spend our budget on our kids so we put off our big gifts until we get our tax return.

This year we got a digital camera as a joint gift and a new 6 drawer dresser to replace the one collap[sing in our bed room. We already got the camera but we will pay off the layaway on the dresser when the tax check comes through.

She got me two game shaped packages so i will see about them9katamari damacy and nba 2k6(the shot stick owns!).
My brother got me a red sox hat
My folks got us some cash which went to buy the camera.
Her parents got us a gift card at the base exchange which is always cool because you don't have to worry about tax.

I got my wife a monopoly pc game(she loves monopoly), a package of three sudoku books sp? and a radio/cd under kitchen cabinet player.

Its funny we usually spread the presents into piles for everyone and both of my kids piles dwarf our joint pile. My favorite present i got one of them is I bought my daughter her first console(a snes) she is going to flip becaus eshe is constantly begging to play my cube. And will love having he rown system

I got boxers and a gift card for cloths.

What was funny to me though is my niece got all of this Dora the explorer toys, my nephew got all of these cool boy toys. He wanted to play with all of the Dora stuff, He played with his stuff for 20 mins. Then he was trying to take my nieces toys. He never liked Dora though, if my sister pops in a dora movie he freaks out he hates it. They are 3 and 2.

A big contrast this year from years past.. I decided that I wanted one huge present, the XBox 360, which I got on Nov. 22nd. Apart from that, I didn't get much, some clothes, money, a few giftcards and Fable: The Lost Chapters. Pretty good Christmas.

The only thing that I really, really, really wanted that I didn't get was the Nintendo DS wi-fi dongle thingy that plugs in to the back of your PC. Oh well.

It turns out, when my boyfriend the $150 dollar thing he wanted to get me was out of stock... he meant AFTER he bought the last one.

I got a Pearl Pink Nintendogs DS bundle. :bouncy: I also got Lunar Dragon Song for it... which I asked for and pray I don't completely regret. (Now I must come up with proper retribution for being tricked into spending waaaay less than he did... )

I also got:

Samurai Legend Musahi as a stocking stuffer

Zelda Windwaker (yes, I didn't have it yet)

Final Fantasy tactics advance (one step closer to all of 'em!)

Gundam: Battle Assuault (lots of hendheld games this year)

Some-or-other off brand portable DVD player. It works fine, but it's fairly big compared to others, and the screen has a nasty 'ghosting' effect... but I don't mind. Now I can figure out if I'd use a portable enough to justify buying a higher quality one. :bouncy:

I hate the bank. For my fifty dollar canadian check that I get from my uncle every Christmas, they now give me fifty dollars when it's deposit it, then send a notice that they're taking X amount of dollars away for the exchange rate (which has been going up. yay for me). They used to do the exchange rate thing and everything right there. I guess the tellers want to leave it for the next guy to catch.

Long story short, I spend money I don't have. =/

My Lil' Bro got hooked up with the 360 and I was hung out to dry and he is taking it back to college with him. I got some new luggage and some Ipod accessories. Also some cash with which I am thinking about buying a nav system for my car. One of the TomToms probably either the 300 or 700.

I'm also donating a couple hundred dollars worth of books to my local library. I guess that counts as "charity". So please don't fart on me.

Exactly how do you know how much we've all given to charities this year?

To break wind in such a tremndous fashion is a gift in and of itself.

I am sure most people have at least given to the Salvation Army bell ringers but the topic is about what you got not what you gave.

Yes, maybe we should start a seperate thread fart free thread about how much we gave to charity this year. This thread wasn't about charitable giving, it was about what you got for Xmas. Also, I don't think most people consider charitable donations as "Xmas presents", its just a donation to help others less fortunate.

- Twelve59 - G version watch from Tokyo Flash
- S'Squre - Sunrise watch from Tokyo Flash
- Daruma Courage tee from GMTEE
- PoPoLoCrois [PSP] (early brithday present, actually)
- SmackDown! vs. RAW '06 [PSP]
- $140 in cash
- $100 AmEx gift credit card

i don't see how gift cards are copouts when the person recieving it might shop at that particular store. if someone gave me one for, let's say, Urban Outfitters, i'd love it because i actually shop there. but whatever works for you. i personally liked getting the AmEx card for a change. it's a gift card that can be used anywhere that American Express is accepted.

I just got another gift today. I was standing near the counter when my mother opened a package from DDD containing "chichago bulls- the 1990's". Its a dvd set they released for many of the dominant nba teams (lakers, celtics, 76er's and bulls), it includes the history of their championships (plus what lead up to them), as well as 6 of the best nba finals games (full games). She said she had intended it for a xmas gift but since it arrived late was gonna save it. But since I saw her open it she gave it to me now. Seems she had forgot what she ordered when she opened it.
