I just got a alto sax for Christmas, but I haven't played in 15 years. I have tried searching for some sheet music online but most require payment. I am not looking for anything difficult. I am trying to ease back into playing. I have found a few videogame sheet music sites so that would be cool too. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Sheet music is extremely hard to find online. If it's not able to be made into text, you'll have some difficulty. That being said, you might as well head over to the local music shop and buy a $5 book of beginner's music. I suppose I could try and scour my room for any remnants of sheet music from high school, but I think most of them have been destroyed, since I never play it anymore.

I actually still have some of my old recital sheet music somewhere. I just have to find it. At least I can still use some of the video game ones I have found. It's going to take awhile to shake off 15 years of rust though.

Cool! I didn't know you played sax.

Since you got a sax, you are required by law to go into a subway car wearing dirty clothes (preferably pants with a dirty red jacket and a dingy white T-shirt)... and you must do recite and do the following (the last piece is optional):

"Greetings! My name... is Kaz. I come from the planet Venus, and this is our language."

(play sax for a few seconds)

"We are a peaceful people! Give us your money and go! Oh, but leave the women..."

(play sax for a while and then turn into a demon after ogling a beautiful woman)

Nobody's getting the reference, I bet...

I thought you were maybe going to make a Bleeding Gums Murphy reference from the Simpsons.

I tried googling the reference you made but came up blank. Is that from a movie?
