He was a pioneer in hip-hop and had a HUGE influence on Gangster Rap. I never personally cared for his music much, but his impact on the genre was huge. On that note, I think I'd actually buy that album IF it has Hasselhoff doing a cover of "Cop Killer" that would be some funny stuff.
