With the popularity of Naruto comes more games on more consoles and systems, and the PSP is no exception. Here's the first bit of news on Narutimetto Portable – Mugenjou no Maki for the PSP. There's not much, but as the release date nears, there should be much more to see.

Here are some images of the game, which seems to bear some resemblance in style and the modes being offered, a standard fighting mode and RPG mode, with Narutimate Hero 3 for the PS2, though I also see similarities to Naruto GNT 4, as well.

Are any Naruto games planned for a release over here? I certainly hope they bring some over, I really enjoyed the series.

aren't there Gamecube and DS Naruto games coming out in the US, I believe Jan/Feb? could be wrong. I just read some stuff about it in Nintendo Power recently.

The first two parts of the GC series are coming over, the first in May, the first of the GBA games is coming over, and I believe at least the first of the PS2 series are coming over.

Because many are full of fighting action, so a fighting game is a more natural choice for genre than many other genres.
