I downloaded party poker, now my antivirus cant stop popups!

I use adaware, spyware, AVG, but their popups keep coming up. I uninstalled it and all but, how can i manually delete these bugs

do some google searches... see if others have this problem. maybe its not related to the party poker thing (unlikely, but 10 secs of searching will let you know)

make sure ie or firefox is set-up to block popups.

in xp, you could do a system restore to a date before you installed that program...assuming you have that functionality installed.

I am sure its from party poker Because it says COME PLAY AT PARTY POKER lol. And it pops up on IE and i cant uninstall IE on an XP

Its definetely not from Party Poker, I have PP on my computer and get no popups, its prob spyware that detects what kind of sites you are visiting, for example, i had spyware on ie that if i went to like myspace, i would get a popup for perfectmatch.com. so its just the spyware detecting that youre visiting a poker site. if party poker really had spyware, nobody would dl and play it

I have PP on three computers and have never had an issue with it. No popups, adware, etc. Probably just something you got from the net. Use Adaware, Spybot, AVG, Ewido Trojan Scanner, etc.

I had the same problem with my old computer. Downloaded party poker and for some reason those popups started to appear out of nowhere. Learned my lesson and never downloaded that POS again.
