What? what are you shipping? DVDs, games, DK Bongos? It normally cost me about 2.00 to send First Class with DC for a standard PS2, xbox, GCN game. I would never recomend Media Mail for anything no matter how cheap it is.

It shouldnt cost more than 2.00 for one game dvd etc etc. depending on the package of the item itself. Normally people pad it with another buck or two to cover other expenses.

He's probably doing priority or anything that weighs over 1 pound. Anything over 1 pound will automatically upgraded to priority.

Priority shipping is the only way to have them pick it up for you. If you want shipping to be cheap, you have to go to the Post Office yourself and send First Class - Or get a postage chart and your own scale, weigh items yourself and stamp yourself, and mail that way.

That's what I been doing. Scale/Stamps save me lots of time and trip to the post office.

Why 2 lbs? Most games are about 9 oz, 4 oz if they're disk only. Do first class, it gives more options.

Whoever buys it will be paying shipping anyways...

That's why it always helps to work for a place that gets automatic discounted shipping. We get 80% off shipping where I work.

For a single disc/case bubble wrapped shipping is 1.29 first class and 3.85 priority, if you use your own envelopes, which I suggest. You can get em from Wal-Mart for like $3 for 25. Media mail is best for heavy items, but realize it's really slow. I almost always ship either first class or priority, I find media mail/parcel post aren't even cheaper most of the time, and when they are the price difference isn't even worth the delivery time difference.

ok I get like the cheapest shipping and I got the packages and it still cost me around 5-6bucks ??Media mail = $1.42 for a DVD (plus whatever the envelope costs)

1st class = $1.24 if it's lightweight..... $1.55 or $1.80 for heavier DVDs.

priority = $3.85
