Hello, I'm planning on attending School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) later on this year-ish (2006 year, =p) and I just wanted to know if there's really any stores that sell old school video games for decent prices, or at least any video game places around for cheap prices.
Thanks.

So there's really nowhere to find games other then a gamestop or eb?
I'm triyng to refer to anything that isn't really a huge corporation, like a thrift shop, goodwill, salvation army, flea market, something akin to the tri-county fair and the likes, as well as stuff like import places and mom and pop shops.
Thanks again.

For all things Chicago, check the Chicago thread (http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4911).

I recommend VideoGames Etc. on Harlem. From Vectrex to Neo Geo, you'll find something of interest there.

Well I have asked here since I don't really know what other areas are in walking distance from SAIC; after looking through a map, Norridge would probably be too long of a walk, seeing as I do not have a car.
