I saw in today's Odd Lots ad that Nintendo brand video game cases for systems like the GBA SP, GBC and gamecube were on sale for a buck a piece.

Thanks for the heads up I usually don't get a Big Lots flyer in the Sunday paper I'll probably check this out next time I'm at the Mall as I recall my Big Lots having some GBA cases and I don't have one :) I may even grab some of those GameCube cases just for the hell of it at that price even though I don't have an imediate use for them.

Edit - IIRC they had some GBA cases at my Big Lots that weren't Pokemon I'm hoping they will be a buck also :D

While you're there, you might check to see if they have any Power Joy systems left. For those of you that play Famicom games, it's a really cheap Famiclone. $10 and it comes with 2 multi-carts full of pirate original games. I picked one up a couple weeks ago and it's got some funky games on it like an undersea diving game (really lame) that uses the underwater background from Super Mario Bros.

I wanted one of those power joy systems just for my collection, for 10$ i would buy

I have seen the cases there, they are good quality cases, keep in mind even though the cases might be designed for the GBC or something you can pretty much use them with anything, you can also stash mp3 players, cell phones or other electronics in them for travel purposes.

Saw a Pokemon case when I visited Big Lots 2 days ago and it was indeed $1.

It's nice as a cheap, portable Famicom. It can even play US NES games if you get an adaptor for it. It would probably be bulky to play like that since the games plug in to the controller though.

I need to go to my local Big Lots one last time before it goes out of buisness, which is happening either this month or next month. :(

Sounds cool. Never been to Big Lots before but they have them in my town. I'll have to remember to go to one.

I am going to my local Big Lots/Odd Lots to clean them out for that price. If I snap more than a couple I list them on here first then on Ebay if anyone is interested.

Why not just get what you need and don't be a greedy pig.
