Does anyone know the cheapest price out there for the offcial Xbox 360 wireless adapter? My friends have told me it works better than most stuff out there so i want to get one.

I heard Kmart had them for $50, but they dont anymore(to my knowledge).

So can anyone help me out here? $100 is a bit steep.

If you're not worried about leaving your network open, you can get a linksys game adapter for $33 at Buy.com

I'd say your best bet is eBay. I got mine on eBay for about $80. Besides the Kmart deal, I don't think you'll be seeing them for much lower.

Ill try ebay, or wait for gamestop to get in some used ones(used are $69.99 on their website)

I hear you can use ANY usb wireless adapter. Considering some of the LOW prices I've seen, i'd say it's worth looking into.

Really? I have a spare USB Adapter, I'm gonna have to test that in a few...

I doubt that is correct however, M$ is smarter than that I would think.

I was doubtful too until I read a thread (on the Xbox 360 forums IIRC) where someone used his linksys usb adapter. If I had one I'd test it out myself. Maybe one of my IT buddies...

I picked up the MS one for $50 at K-Mart about 3 weeks ago. Who knows its worth a shot. Good luck.

I just tried my Dlink adapter and it didn't work. T_T
