its fun but takes a while to make cash.
alot of people bluff --;; but its great to earn cash if your good at it.
I signed up for Party Poker when they were offering a free 300 count chipset with a $50 deposit. I turned that $50 into almost $200 in a couple days playing the 1/2 tables, but over the span of a week it went down to $80 so I cashed out.
I suggest trying the $10 or $20 sit-and-go tournaments.

Isn't anyone afraid of collusion? Seems like it would be easy to get a table of 7 guys together that know one other and wait for the new guy to sit down, milk him dry and move on.

Well you know what they say... "If you can't spot the sucker at a poker table.... you're it"

OK there is a really huge flaw in this logic: they dont know your cards, they might know each others cards but if you bet big when you have a good hand, then you will win, and if you fold instead of betting when you have a bad hand then you wont lose much money.

Let me elaborate on my thought.
First lets start with a 8 person table. Second, get 7 friends to sit at that table. Now all 7 friends could communicate (saying using an instant messenger prbgram) their cards to one another. Now that everyone knows each others hand they could decide who should play/bet their hand. The "sucker" at the table will always have to play against a really strong hand. Sure this isn't an "unbeatable" situation to be in, but you could milk money from people like this.
I guess after writing it out in detail it seems like a lot of work...

umm...that takes so much work, plus ur wrong because the sucker that that falls into this trap will lose 100% of the time. theres no way u can win against 8 colluding people. and collusion is easily detected on the online poker rooms as it becomes obvious when teh same people are always playing together
