I found this to be interesting and potentially helpful for future demos that don't get released here in the States. I haven't had the chance to try it out yet, but it seems as though it works (for now).

So, all these cool demos are out, but because of your region, you are not allowed to download it? Well Gamers Reports has put togeather some great info for you. It is actually a pretty simple work around for this problem. All that is required is that you create a new xbox live account, claiming the region that is allowed to download the demo you want. Head over to Microsofts Passport site [here] (making sure you are logged out) and create a new hotmail account. When they signup process asks you where you are from, simply choose the location that is allowed to download the demo. You will be required to enter some info regarding the location, here it is:
United States
Postal Code: 10012
State: New York, City New York City
Phone Number: 1-866-530-1234
Japan
Postal Code: 150-2345
Province: Tokyo-to
Phone Number: 3201-3331
Germany
Postal Code: 54292
City: Trier
Phone Number: 065112345
These are valid, but you can use any address and phone number from the desired country. You only need to activate the hotmail account and sign up for a new Xbox Live account (silver, because you don’t have to pay). You will be required to re-enter the phone number to verify the passport account, but that is all there is to it! Leave the auto sign in disabled for the foreign accounts to leave your actual account hassle free.
