not sure if anyone else watching this but cops 8:30 show is dubbed in spanish. this is bull shit! I live in america,it is a american tv show, taped here in america then they dub it inspanish and play it prime time. If I turn on my tv I should be able to watch without being dubbed in spanish so that all the stupid ass illegal's in this country can watch. At what point does america stop makeing everything so good for imigrants and takeing care of it citizen's needs. Sorry but this pissed me off. feel free to flame away now

Clearly you have never been to South Florida before. There are people here who cant speak English or just prefer to watch their shows in their first language.

Usted tiene mierda para cerebros!
And for the French speakers:
Vous avez la merde pour les cerveaux!
I think that's a fitting cap for this conversation.

That isn't a cool comment. I don't have cable either for various reasons. Some people can't afford it so slow your role a little bit there.

I don't care for the sense of entitlement.
Television stations don't owe you anything. The produce a product which is intended as a medium to advertise products to you, and if in the process they entertain, educate or inform you, all the better.
If you don't like it, watch something else, or turn it off.
With the rare exception of public television, which has an alternate purpose, all broadcast television exists only to sell advertising and make money.
If a show broadcast in english and a show broadcast in Spanish have a noticable different rating, then the one that gets the higher ratings will be the one that sees air.
I'd die laughing, however, if it's all just a tempest in a tea kettle, and mojo just had his set set to recieve the broadcast in ESP/SAP.
If you want to see what you want, when you want to, you're going to pay for that service. If you don't want to pay, I have no pity for you.
If you can't pay, I'd have some sympathy, but it's not as if there aren't a myriad of other low cost alternatives for entertainment. Reading, for instance. Libraries are a great resource, yet every time I visit my local libraries, they're woefully underused.

I was thinking the same thing. Also its cops you really don't need to hear it. More then likely someone breaks the law, the cops come to their house. The suspect tries to flee the cops catch him/her. Or the cops try to pull someone over then they run from the cops then they wreck the car eventually.

You're forgetting that police are a public program, therefore it's the right of the taxpayer to complain about them not being televised in English.

Then why can't we show tits on TV?
If the gov is going to censor network TV to the point where we can't see tits or anything else the christian bible forbids, then the least that the government can do is make sure that shows are broadcast in the only official language of the USA so that everyone can understand.
Why does the religious right get their way, mexican immigrants/illegals get their way, yet the rest of us Americans who took time to learn the official language and don't want to pay $60 a month for cable get the shaft? Don't we deserve to be able to understand the news and documentaries shown on local network TV? And for that matter, I don't give a flying fuck what the christian bible says, I wanna see some tiggle bitties!!

You know, I'd make a joke, but the fact that you admitted that you watch Cops is hysterical by itself.

The US has an official Language? That's news to me. Where is that mentioned? Certainly not in the Constitution.

Try putting the antenna on the left side of the trailer.

Maybe it was a traffic cop? Or maybe he was in a school zone. I will give someone a ticket for speeding in a school zone regardless of the speed. Also, I will not hesitate to give a citation for any person speeding (any speed) that has been cited in the past for speeding.
Back to the subject at hand...
I love the show, COPS. It is a good lesson of what not to do in law enforcement. Sure, you once in a while get something cool but the majority is just domestic, just like real life.
