I walked into a gamestop and found the very rare Gitaroman. It was a used copy but the game was in perfect condition with great looking case and manuel.

For some reason they had a misprint on the label. Instead of 44.99 they charge for it they had it for 29.99 and I had a GS card so I got another 3 dollars off.

Did I do good? I know this game is very hard to find so when I saw it I figured I better get it ASAP.

i actually saw 5 brand new ones for 29.99 at frys the otherday. I think it got a little more common because of a reprint.

its actually a terrible game... its not very fun.. its has a very interesting control scheme but besides that.. the 10 songs get old and you'll get bored of it.

Actually, gitaroo man is a lot better than most of the rythm games out. And you can actually enjoy it with out needing a special control unlike Beatmania, Popn Music, Guitar Freaks etc.

Master mode is the friggen hardest thing ever to accomplish, whoever beat all 10 stages on Master mode deserves to be called a master, I stopped playing at Funk Master KingBee. I wouldve kept playing but I got Dragon Quest 8. And yea, I spent $25 for it at Gamestop, the game has been Reprinted. So you should just return it if ur not gonna play it or keep it since its not worth anything.

So far the game is fun. Completely crazy but lots of fun. Though if Fry's has it that price I'm sure other will too. So I'm just going to search for it and order it. I'll return this one. I rather get a new one that'll be lower in price. I'm glad they reprinted it.

Some of these oddball games are great fun. Especially if I can get them for the cheap now.

Also Rez has been reprinted. If you can find that you should totally buy it. The last level alone is worth it.

Are you sure it was $29.99? My Fry's (in OR) has them for $39.99 - just saw them there yesterday at that price.

While this game will not be EVERYONE's cup of tea, I really enjoyed it, and go back to play through it once in a while. I tend to enjoy most rhythm games, however. :)

heh.. yeah.. i hate gitaroo man.. i'm so terrible ha.. i paid 45 for it.. after the reprint and promptly took it back after kicking the crap out of each of the modes (easy medium and hard and most of mater) within a 3 day period.. i do play a lot of rythem games.. i even like parappa and um jammer lammy (which this game takes a lot of ques from) but this one just didn't really interest me that much and didn't offer a lot after the intial run through.

but i love guitar hero, guitar freaks, beatmania, older DDRs, i haven't cut my teeth on karaoke revolution yet, but it looks cool.. i love drum mania and drumscape, pop n music was interesting.. but this one i didn't like that much 10 songs just doesn't cut it..

but to each his own.. if you feel like you got a good deal then thats all that matters.
