Unexpected package from Sony. [Mobile/Archive]

I signed up for the Playstation Underground thing a while back, but I didnt think anything of it until a few weeks ago and I decided to update all my old info. Well, its been about and month and I've taken and couple surveys from e-mails and stuff that I've gotten from them. And now..... a free hat.

I get crazy stuff from them all the time.

Demo discs,water bottles,day planners, just random stuff with the Playstation logo on it.

Surprised that it's a flex-fit. Usually freebie caps are snap/strap.

I hate you. All I got was a $5 off coupon for a game I didn't want, and a half-assed (though nice and shiny) membership card and keychain thingy that can't be used for anything.

I joined that thing way back when the started it... got a membership card and certificate and a neat combo notebook/game disc binder/memory card holder thingy with a pen.

That's about all though.

I've done five or six PS2 betas, but they said being in GAP doesn't have anything to do with your chances. I also got picked for the PSP beta of Socom, but I didn't have a PSP.

I only get coupons and games demos. But on the other hand, it sounds like that's as good as it gets if they're sending out hats and key chains to other people. I don't know why they even manufacture some of that stuff... I bet 90% of it ends up in the trash.

I have a GAP card with an account and PIN and everything, and it won't let me log on to their website. I even wrote to Sony a couple times with this info so I could log in again and all I got in response was obvious stuff that didn't solve my problem.

I did get that free PS2 travel binder once. The one that has slots for games, manuals, and memory cards and has a zipper all around.

Got one of those too. It's a high quality cap for being a freebie. Was a very nice surprise and I do wear it.

Did a few betas, including the SOCOM PSP one, lots of demos and coupons, especially during the holidays. Was worth submitting my info and participating to join, for sure.

I got the hat too, it is a very nice hat.

It's not one of the usual freebies, this is like a $25 hat.

It's way nicer than anything I would have bought for myself.
