anyone have a recent receipt for madden '06?

Just picked it up at a TRU that's closing and they don't allow exchanges. I opened it and the disc was off the spindle with scratches. I was wondering if I could send you the game so you could use your receipt and exchange it for another copy for me. I'd send a couple bucks extra for shipping back to me as well.

Or any ideas how I can exchange it for the same copy. Thanks for the help.

Can you take it to another TRU that isn't closing? I think companies need to invest in stronger spindles. It seems like at least 1/3 - 1/2 the Gamecube games I get are loose in the case and occasionaly a PS2 or XBox game is also loose in the case.

Doesn't EA give you a 90 day warrenty?

I was just reading though some of my maunals, for DoA 4 it says not to return the game to the retail store instead send it to Tecmo.

But PGR 3 says you have 90 days to return it to the retail store for a exchange.

So you still might be able to send it to EA.

All games, AFAIK, have a 90 day warranty on them. Check the manual, it'll tell you for sure.

I'd call EA and ask them what you should do. Their phone # should also be in the manual.
